From Wednesday 1 April, Southwell Leisure Centre will be operated by Creating Active Futures, in partnership with Parkwood Leisure and Southwell Leisure Centre Trust.
Located in Southwell, Nottinghamshire, our community wellbeing and activity hub is a place for people of all ages and abilities. Under our management, the centre will continue to offer a wide range of activities all under one roof, making it easy to stay active your way. Our facilities will include a gym, swimming pool, fitness classes, and more.

From Wednesday 1 April, Southwell Leisure Centre will be operated by Creating Active Futures, in partnership with Parkwood Leisure and Southwell Leisure Centre Trust.
Many familiar faces will remain at the centre, as colleagues will transfer from the previous operator. Customers will be able to continue enjoying a wide range of activities, with existing favourites and new sessions launching soon. There will be no immediate changes to opening hours or programmes; however, existing members will need to re-register, as memberships will not automatically transfer.

Our fitness centre will offer a variety of equipment to support your fitness journey, including cardio machines, resistance equipment, free weights and more.

Our spacious swimming pools will provide ample room for both fitness-focused swimming and the development of swimming skills and techniques.
48 Classes a week
You will be able to join our energetic instructor-led group exercise classes each week and elevate your fitness journey. We will offer a wide range of options to enhance your fitness and wellbeing routine.
Children, Baby and Toddler, Adult lessons will be available
Our swimming lessons, delivered in partnership with Swim England, will be available for all ages and will focus on building confidence and developing essential water safety skills.
From children’s to adult swimming lessons, we will offer a variety of courses and lessons for all ages and skill levels.
You will find a range of activities suitable for all ages and fitness levels, designed to help you stay active and engaged.
