FAQs

Where will the Reformer Studio be located?

The new studio will be located in the existing Sports Injury Clinic, next door to squash court 1 and accessed via the corridor from the main reception area.

What to Wear

All customers are expected to wear grip socks when taking part in the classes. They can be purchased at reception. Please ensure you wear appropriate gym clothing, a towel and a water bottle.

What brand of Reformer beds will you be using?

After a long and detailed selection process, we have decided to partner with Your Reformer for all of our equipment and training needs. Furthermore, we will be filling our studio with their top-of-the-range beds for a completely premium experience.

When will the studio be open?

The building works, flooring and decor will be completed in October. Immediately following this we will be hosting training for local instructors and then we plan to open the studio in mid November.

Will there be any disruption whilst the works are carried out?

We will endeavor to keep the disruption to an absolute minimum throughout the project. No other areas of the centre will be affected and all activities will continue as normal.

Can I access the Reformer Studio classes if I am not a member?

Yes, absolutely!

However, members will be able to book sessions further in advance as a privilege of their membership, and they will receive preferential rates. If you find yourself attending a lot of classes, you may want to consider becoming a member. Please contact us to discuss your options at any time.

Become a member, beat the waiting lists and pay less per session!

Will Reformer classes be included in my membership?

Reformer requires specialised equipment, a dedicated studio and small-group instruction led by certified Reformer instructors to ensure a safe, high-quality session. These classes are operated as specialty sessions outside of our standard or premium memberships. This separation allows us to keep our core membership prices unaffected, whilst offering access to the classes for an additional cost only to those who wish to attend them.

How much will the reformer classes cost in addition to my monthly membership?

Classes can be booked and paid for as one-off sessions.

We will also be offering packages that allow for the pre-payment of blocks of 5, 10 or 20 classes which significantly reduce the price per session, offering greater savings when paying for more sessions upfront.

For a full breakdown of the packages on offer please click here.

When will vouchers go on sale?

The vouchers for Reformer sessions will go on pre-sale from 2nd November.

What will the timetable look like?

We plan to open the studio with approximately 24 dedicated Reformer classes each week.

The Reformer studio timetable will include classes for complete beginners that are less intense and comprise the foundational movements. It will also include classes focused on stretching, strengthening and even cardio based classes. Furthermore, we will be including the newly introduced Les Mills Reformer classes for those looking for something different!

Cancellation Policy

Please make every effort to cancel your booking via the app or online if you are unable to attend a booked session your voucher will be credited back. This allows other customers to utilise the space. Cancellation of reserved sessions is permitted, provided that such cancellation is made at least 2 hours in advance of the activity start time.  Failure to attend a booked class or customers that cancel within this 2 hour notice  period will forfeit the voucher for that class.

How will I know what’s going on?

We will send out emails with full details, notification via the Leisure Centre mobile app and provide updates on our social media channels.

This FAQ’s page will also be kept up to date in the lead up to and throughout the project.
