General Splash

Relaxed, Family-Friendly Swimming

Take it slow with our General Splash session – a calm and gentle swim experience ideal for adults and younger children. Whether you're floating peacefully or watching little ones explore, it's the perfect way to enjoy time together in the water.

What to Expect

  • A calm and relaxing lazy river and whirlpool for those wanting to unwind.
  • An interactive play area with a mini slide - perfect for younger children.
  • Changing Village equipped with lockers (£1 returnable deposit), showers, hair dryers, toilets and haystack dryers.
  • Accessible changing facilities. 
  • Trained lifeguards always on hand to ensure safety.
  • Swimming sessions last for 1 hour, with additional time to change before and after your swim.
Important Information
  • All Leisure Pool bookings are non-refundable.
  • During Welsh term-time, our slides and water features only operate Wednesday and Friday evenings as well as weekends and Bank Holidays.
  • We no longer accept cash within our centre.
  • A £1 coin or trolley token is required for the lockers.
  • Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Swim Ratios

Despite the changes to our processes and procedures our swim ratios still apply:

  • 0-3 years - 1 adult to 1 child
  • 4-7 years - 1 adult to 2 children
  • 8 + years - Unaccompanied

A Parent or responsible adult is defined as +16 years, they must be in the water with the children, they must maintain a constant watch over them and be in close contact with those of the children who are weak or non-swimmers.

It is strongly recommended that weak and non-swimming children wear an approved flotation device
