BARRY AMATEUR SWIMMING CLUB

Barry ASC has been running since 1926! We operate from the Barry Leisure Centre as well as the Cardiff International Pool. We have swimmers from the age of 8 and up and operate a number weekly training sessions. Our swimmers participate in a number of annual Galas as a team, and many swimmers also compete as individuals in various Swim Meets throughout the year.

Swimming Times: 

Monday: Junior 7.00pm - 8.00pm & Senior 8.00pm - 9:30pm

Monday to Thursday: Cardiff Senior 7:30pm landwork

Friday: All swimmers 7.00pm- 8:30pm

Sunday: All swimmers 9.00pm -10.00pm

CARDIFF TRIATHLETES

Cardiff Triathletes is a vibrant, friendly and social triathlon club who are based in Cardiff, utilising various swim, cycle and run training venues throughout the city and surrounding area. The club trains at the Cardiff International Pool on Thursday evenings 8:30pm - 9:30pm, and Sunday evenings 7:00pm - 8:00pm. Every swim session is coached by our team of experienced swim and triathlon coaches. We also have other coached swim, cycle and run sessions at other venues during the week. Cardiff Triathletes club members compete in every triathlon distance throughout the year, including first timers to some achieving international GB Age Group honours. We welcome all abilities and ages to the club.

CARDIFF UNDERWATER HOCKEY

We’re a friendly, mixed club who train at Cardiff International pool in Cardiff bay (Wednesday nights). We’re always open to new players coming along and giving underwater hockey a shot, and the best thing is the first two sessions are free! There’s no protocol, just bring some swimwear, a towel and some enthusiasm.

CITY OF CARDIFF SWIM CLUB

City of Cardiff is one of the leading competitive swimming clubs in Wales.

The Club provides its Members with the opportunity to swim at all levels priding itself on developing young swimmers’ aquatic skills through to developing International athletes. The Club was accredited with “Swim Wales Performance Centre” in 2012. Our Head Coach, Graham Wardell has established himself as one of the top Coaches in GB, having lead Team Scotland to Commonwealth Games success in 2014.

The Club trains 6 days a week at the Cardiff International Pool and several of the Leisure Centres across Cardiff.

WELSH WANDERS WATER POLO CLUB

Welsh Wanders Water Polo Club are a successful water polo club based at the Cardiff International Pool, with men’s, women’s and Junior teams competing across Wales and the UK in a range of tournaments, including British Water Polo League and Bristol & West League.
