Getting here
Located on Rope Walk at the head of the Kingsbridge Estuary (TQ7 1HH), Quayside Leisure Centre is easily accessible for visitors across the South Hams. For those arriving by car, follow the A381 or A379 into Kingsbridge, where the adjacent Quay Car Park provides convenient pay-and-display parking with level access to our entrance. If you are travelling by public transport, Kingsbridge Bus Station is just a five-minute walk away, served by frequent routes from Totnes, Dartmouth, and Plymouth, including the 164 and 93 services. Rail users can connect via Totnes station with a direct onward bus journey, while local residents can enjoy a scenic walk or cycle along the water’s edge to reach us directly from the town centre.
Parking
Visitors can find convenient parking at several nearby council-operated car parks, with residents' permits and discounts applicable. The Quay Car Park, located directly adjacent to the centre, operates charges from 08:00 to 20:00, ranging from £2.50 for one hour to £15.00 for a 24-hour stay. Alternatively, the Cattle Market Car Park is a short walk away and offers reduced rates between 08:00 and 20:00, including a £1.50 one-hour stay or an all-day rate of just £5.00.
