Further to South Holland District Council’s recent announcements about significant investment in the Castle Sports Complex, we are pleased to share more detailed information.
During this time, all dry-side fitness services, including the gym and group exercise classess will be relocated to the Boston College.
The scheduled completion of these upgrades is January 2027.
A wide range of upgrades is planned, including a new Wellbeing Hub, two new swimming pools, and extensive gym and group exercise studios. For more details, please visit the Council’s Levelling Up Website.
The swimming pool will remain open throughout the refurbishment period. Swimming lessons will also continue as normal. Details regarding the gym, group exercise sessions, and indoor bowls are listed below.
The gym and group exercise sessions will be relocated to Boston College Spalding Campus, Red Lion Quarter, Red Lion St, Spalding PE11 1SX. Hours will remain the same.
The temporary gym at Boston College will feature a great range of equipment, dedicated studios, and changing rooms.
Indoor bowls will move to Long Sutton Bowls Club, Cinder Ash Park, Park Rd, Long Sutton, Spalding PE12 9DJ.
Yes. Parking will be available at the Pinchbeck Road car park, located by the swimming pool. All members can apply for a free parking permit to use this facility. Please follow the link provided to apply for your permit.
Additional parking is available free of charge on Castle Sports Centre, Albion Street. Road side parking is also available on New Road (time limitations and charges may apply).
