Erith Leisure Centre Refurbishment FAQ's

Exciting improvements coming to your centre!

Erith Leisure Centre will be undergoing key equipment upgrades to enhance your fitness experience. Click here for a sneak peak at the new layout.

What changes are being made?

  • Upgraded equipment for the free weight area, including an Olympic bench press and half rack with deadlifting platform from Hammer Strength
  • Additional pin-loaded resistance equipment added to our range, including an Assisted Chin/Dip and Glute Bridge from the Insignia range from Life Fitness.
  • A new 4 stack cable multi-jungle with Lat Pulldown and Cable Row.
  • New and improved layout, creating more space and a better flow
  • Larger dedicated functional space upstairs for your high intensity workouts

What are the proposed dates of refurb?

From 12:00 on Monday, 16 February to 18:00 on Wednesday, 18 February.

Can I still use the centre?

Yes, the centre itself will remain open and most facilities will be unaffected. However the gym will be closed throughout the project whilst we remove the existing equipment and install the new.

All members will be able to use the gym at Crook Log or Sidcup as an alternative (even Erith Only members on this occasion).

How will I know how to safely and effectively use the new equipment?

Our Fitness team will be available at all times to assist you with the new equipment. We recommend booking an induction with the team, should you feel you will need more detailed guidance

How will I know what’s going on?

Please follow us on social media to keep up to date with all of the developments and see photos as we progress with the project. Full details will be sent directly to members via email and this FAQ’s page will be kept up to date.

What if I have more questions?

Please refer any other questions to our Contact Us page, where a member of the team will be happy to assist.
