Health Hero

Private GP service, provided by Bupa Well+

Consult with a GP when you need to via video or phone using the My Bupa app. Our Premium Membership gives you access to Blua, digital healthcare from Bupa, including our Digital GP service, allowing you to speak to a fully qualified doctor for advice, diagnosis and treatment to help manage your health and wellbeing. Appointments are available 7 days a week.

Private GP services typically cost at least £15 per month, but through our partnership with Bupa, Digital GP access is included at no additional cost within your Premium Membership. For more information about Bupa, click below.

My HealthyWay

Nutrition and Wellbeing, provided by My HealthyWay

With our Premium Membership, you'll receive an exclusive 33% discount on our expert-led nutrition courses as well as a 10% discount on personalised nutrition and wellbeing consultations. Going Premium means you can benefit from inclusive access to our GoodBoost musculoskeletal rehabilitation classes.* Book your GoodBoost class like normal, via the app or website, and it will be shown as free. HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our Premium Membership is available to new and existing customers on a fixed, flexible or annual rate. If you are a new customer, you can buy our Premium Membership online. If you are an existing customer, please visit reception and they will sign you up to Premium. 

WHEN WILL I BE NOTIFIED?

Emails to look out for: 

1. After signing up you’ll receive a confirmation email, informing you are now a Premium Member. 

2. 1 day after joining - You will receive a welcome email with your nutritional discount codes - keep these safe so you can book one of our courses here.

3. 2 days after joining - You will receive an ARVRA confirmation email, detailing how you can download the app and how to use it. For more information on ARVRA visit this page.

4. 10 days after joining - You will receive a HealthHero confirmation email. For more information about HealthHero and how it works, visit this page

I ALREADY HAVE A MEMBERSHIP, HOW DO I UPGRADE TO A PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP?

If you are already a member, and would like to upgrade, please visit reception the next time you are in-centre and they can upgrade you. 

WHAT IS THE COST OF OUR PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP, ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES OR HIDDEN CHARGES?

HOW LONG IS THE COMMITMENT PERIOD FOR THE PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP, AND WHAT ARE THE TERMS FOR CANCELLING?

Our Premium Membership operates the same as our standard memberships, with flexible monthly, fixed for 12 months and annual options.

HOW DO I ACCESS BUPA WELL+?

To ensure you don't lose access to your premium health benefits, please follow these simple steps once the service goes live on 5th May at 1pm.

  • Register/Log In: Follow the instructions provided in your upcoming Bupa Well+ welcome email to activate your subscription using your premium membership details. 
  • Download the App: Search for the My Bupa app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. 
  • Explore: Set up your profile and explore the fitness, mindfulness, and medical resources now available to you.

You can speak to a Bupa Digital GP about any health concerns you would normally discuss with your NHS GP, including:

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MY ARVRA AND HEALTH HERO GP ACCOUNTS?

Your access to ARVRA and Health Hero GP through our Premium membership will end on 30th June. After this date, you will no longer be able to log in to these platforms using your premium membership credentials.

HOW DO I BOOK MY NUTRITIONAL COURSE AND CONSULTANT WITH MY DISCOUNT?

With our Premium Membership, you'll receive an exclusive 33% discount on our nutritional courses and enjoy a 10% discount on personalised nutrition and wellbeing consultations. These voucher codes will be sent to you via email. You can view our nutritional courses through MyHealthyWay

To book your personal nutritional consultation, please email myhealthyway@parkwood-leisure.co.uk including your membership number. 

DO PREMIUM MEMBERS RECEIVE ADVANCE BOOKING ON CLASSES OR FACILITIES?

Yes, members who purchase our Premium Membership will receive 14 days advance booking. Depending on your local centre’s facilities and activities, this will include classes and activity bookings. Please check with your leisure centre for specific details.

WHAT IF I AM ON A CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP?

If you have a corporate membership, you may wish to speak to your employer about the possibility of them paying the additional £7.50 per month for our Premium Membership. If not, you are still able to pay the additional £7.50 per month yourself, following the sign up route via our app below. You will need to enter your own payment details for the additional monthly fee. Sign up route: Make sure you’re signed in and follow the instructions below:

  • Open the Leisure Centre app
  • Click the Premium Member button 
  • Click Get Premium
  • Click the plus to confirm your upgrade
  • Set your start date and confirm your payment
WHAT IF I HAVE A COUPLES OR FAMILY MEMBERSHIP?

Our Premium Membership is available individually to each member, including adults on couples or family memberships. This means that a couple or family members would need to upgrade to our Premium Membership individually via our app. Make sure you’re signed in and follow the instructions below:

  • Open the Leisure Centre app
  • Click the Premium Member button 
  • Click Get Premium,
  • Click the plus to confirm your upgrade
  • Set your start date and confirm your payment
ARE MY EXISTING BOOKING RIGHTS OR TERMS AND CONDITIONS CHANGING?

We understand that some members may not be able or willing to pay for the Premium Membership. We want to assure you that this will not affect your current terms and conditions of membership or your current booking rights. You will still have access to all of the same benefits that you currently enjoy. Terms and conditions can be found here.
