Kidlington & Gosford Leisure Centre is a busy community based leisure centre in North Oxfordshire comprising of a 25 metre swimming pool, 55+ station gym, functional training area, group exercise / activity studios, indoor cycling studio, 4 court sports hall, sauna room,  squash courts and a floodlit all weather pitch.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop a career within the leisure industry.


The Opportunity


Reporting to the Operations Manager, the  successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operation of the centres including health and safety, customer care, financial procedures and leading and managing multiple departments when on duty. Working hours include evenings and weekends on a rota over 40 hours per week. Each Duty Manager post is subject to its own agreed responsibilities. 

The Person


An NPLQ or First Aid at Work certificate are essential and a Pool Plant Operators qualification is desirable as well as a recognised Leisure Management qualification. 


The successful candidate should have previous knowledge of the leisure industry and a good level of experience of working in a very busy wet/dry facility. Excellent communication skills, flexibility and a total commitment to customer service are essential. Successful applicants will be provided with full training in all aspects of this role. 

This position requires a DBS disclosure
