Rushcliffe Arena is a brand new state of the art facility comprising of a 25 metre swimming pool, teaching pool and splash area, 120+ station gym, 2 x group exercise studios, 1 x indoor cycling studio, 4 x court sports hall, sauna and steam room, 3 x squash courts, 6 x rink indoor bowls hall, snooker room and a cafe.

 

We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and competent Membership Sales Advisor to assist in the memberships team at Rushcliffe Arena. We are seeking to appoint conscientious and sales orientated person who wants to learn and develop their skills in administration, sales and customer service.

 

The main area of responsibility will involve working to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets inline with company procedures. You will need to be proactive and able to continually seek new opportunities to create leads as well as complete professional membership calls, tours and ultimately sales.

 

Duties will also include providing general office administration support to the member services team  including but not limited to raising purchase orders and invoicing, and to ensure the filing system is kept up to date, processing membership forms, debt collection, serving customers and cash handling.

 

The Membership Advisor will also be required to be in a front of house position as a receptionist dealing with visitors to the centre both face to face, over the telephone and online via our social media outlets.

 

It will be desirable for candidates to be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, including English & Maths, will be a competent user of word processing and spreadsheet software and Google docs, with excellent communication and organisation skills. The ideal candidates will need to be flexible, reliable and have the ability to work under pressure to meet any deadlines required. Confidentiality and demonstrable IT skills are essential along with a confident telephone manner.

 

Candidates should possess the ability to work independently and have good numeracy skills along with the ability to work within tight deadlines and to set procedures. Diplomacy and a customer-facing approach are also essential.

 

Candidates will have the opportunity to enroll on to our company training programme to work towards a Level 2 or 3 Sales qualification

 

Please note that weekends and evenings will be included in the working hours
