About Pilates

Strong, toned, and supple are all ways in which we’d like to describe ourselves. Pilates is a class that can help you achieve this. Based on an exercise system that focuses on stretching and strengthening the entire body you will engage with your core muscles, which in turn will make a real difference to your physique. It has been described as a combination of yoga and martial arts which is suitable for all ages and abilities as it is based on controlled movements.

Pilates is an incredible activity to condition and strengthen your core muscles, which in turn tighten your surrounding muscles giving you a stronger and leaner appearance. Flexibility, posture and muscle tone are all developed in Pilates as well as mental benefits like improved concentration and reduced stress. Pilates is low impact making it suitable for everyone.

What Should I Wear?

We recommend that you wear light, breathable clothing or sportswear to ensure maximum comfort and flexibility. Don't forget to bring plenty of water with you in order to keep hydrated during your session.
