  • Active Wellbeing Exercise Classes

    Being physically active is great for your health and wellbeing, and if done regularly will benefit you physically and mentally. It is also a great opportunity to have fun, meet new people and make new friends. Solihull’s Active Wellbeing Hub consists of: DocSpot Exercise Referral - Do you have a mild/moderate health condition and want to improve your health? This 12 week physical activity programme can help get you started! Cancer Rehab - Regular physical activity can help you throughout your cancer journey and aid recovery. Why not try this programme of specialist group exercise classes for people affected by cancer! Cardiac Rehab - Do you have a history of heart disease? Or still not back to your best after a heart attack or heart procedure? These exercise classes are a fantastic way to help you get back to doing all the things you love and improve your health. MS and Parkinson’s Classes - These weekly classes at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre can help improve mobility and fitness, balance and coordination, quality of life and mental wellbeing.

  • Bernards Institute of Taekwon-do

    Tae kwon-do is not just about fighting or self-defence although that is the overall aim. Tae kwon-do is a art with many facets. Tae kwon-do was initially taught to the Korean army hence the discipline, concentration and respect factors. Tae kwon-do is built on number of fundamental movements which when put together and performed continuously, involve a high-degree of co-ordination and fitness. When these movement are performed slowly they develop overall body strength and improve muscle tone. Couple these movements with breathing techniques and watch your overall power increase. This leads to a feeling of well being and confidence in yourself and your own abilities so allowing you to do whatever you want to do and achieve whatever you want to achieve!

  • Blythe Barracudas Swimming Club

    Our competitive squads are coached by an enthusiastic team and offer the ideal opportunity for progression to young swimmers who have natural talent and the desire to compete. We have a flexible approach which allows those members who have other interests/sports to train alongside the more committed swimmers and still benefit from structured training sessions.   • Chelmsley Wood Gymnastics Club

    Chelmsley Wood Gymnastics Club is a competitive club catering for girls aged 5 years and upwards. The club is run by a keen group of volunteers who have British Gymnastic qualifications in coaching. The club is affiliated to the West Midlands Amateur Gymnastics Association and British Gymnastics. Beginner classes run at North Solihull Sports Centre on a Saturday 9.00-10.00 and/or a Friday 18.30-19.30. For more information please use the contact section.

  • Chelmsley Wood Shukokai Karate Club

    The Chelmsley Wood Shukokai Karate Club was established at North Solihull Sports Centre over 20 Years ago to teach both the traditional self defence and the modern sporting aspects of Karate. We are one of over 20 Karate Clubs in the Shukokai Karate Association (SKA), predominately located in the West Midlands area, all under the instruction of Sensei Malcolm Hudson, 7th Dan Black Belt. Karate is one of the most well known systems of martial art and self defence in the world, but learning to defend yourself is not the only benefit karate offers. As you progress through your training you will also be improving your levels of fitness, flexibility and strength. Classes for 5 Year Olds to Adults are on a Tuesday from 7:00pm - 9:00pm ( Students Under 12 finish at 8:30pm). No special training uniform is required for the first few weeks. Just wear loose, comfortable clothing.

  • F.I.T.C.A.P

    FITCAP (Fitness in the Community & Active Play) are a Non-profit Community Interest Company who work in the local community for the community. Local People are involved in our project and it plans to not only provide activities to encourage a healthy lifestyle and get Children & Young People off the streets but to provide training and volunteering opportunities. The workers who deliver our project are from the local community. Some of the opportunities we deliver include: sports and leisure holiday activity schemes afterschool and lunchtime activities outreach work cookery volunteering intergeneration work training The workers from the community also meet regularly to plan/evaluate delivery based on their interactions with local people at their sessions.

  • Fun Fest

    Fun Fest are a holiday activtiy scheme provider for the community. They are based at CTC and also use facilities at North Solihull Sports Centre. Fun Fest now provide fun indoor parties through North Solihull Sports Centre. For more information please contact Josie on 07399 567 870

  • Kingsbury Aquarius Swimming Club

    Kingsbury Aquarius Swimming Club is a very successful North Warwickshire club which provides a learn to swim programme for the younger swimmer wishing to swim once a week, with progression to a comprehensive development programme for all ages and abilities through to National level. A fitness programme is included for all parents of club members who want to swim to keep fit, all run by fully qualified coaches. Kingsbury run sessions at North Solihull Sports Centre on a Thursday 19.30-20.30 and a Sunday 17.30-18.30.

    Lyndon Colts Football Club

    Lyndon Colts Football Club is a firendly FA Charter Standard Club. We offer football coaching and have FA registered teams ranging from 5 years to 18 years. We welcome anyone who would like to start or continue their football journey and all of our teams and coaching sessions are run by FA qualified coaches.   • North Solihull Aikido Club

    A combination of classical Martial Arts and modern self defence.This class is available for Children and Adults and is run by 2, 6th Dan Instructors. If you would like further information please contact our reception and they will be happy to help. Wednesday 19:30pm-21:30pm

  • Soccer Hotshots

    Soccer Hotshots is a football coaching school for 3 -10 year olds. Currently operating sessions at North Solihull Sports Centre and Hodge Hill College. Run as part of Lyndon Colts Football Club we have pathways to our teams, or it could be used as additional training if your child plays for another team.
