On Sunday 22nd November 2009, Parkwood Leisure Centres in the West Berkshire region will be taking part in a sponsored motorcycle run to raise money for Naomi House Children’s Hospice.
The event has been organised by the centre manager at Cotswold Sports Centre, Fran Dickenson and the centre manager at Theale Green Leisure Centre, David Wall.
Anyone with a motorcycle can take part. The motorcycle run will begin at Cotswold Sports Centre, travelling to Theale Green Leisure centre, Willink Leisure Centre, Kennet Leisure Centre and Northcroft Leisure Centre, collecting money along the journey from each centre then finally ending at the Naomi House Children’s Charity where the money will be donated.
Money pots will be located at each of the Parkwood Leisure Centres participating and all donations are welcome. We have set ourselves a goal of raising £200 at the event but hope to raise much more.
