During April 2009 a number of Parkwood Leisure pools hosted the national Swimathon event, in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. We are delighted to have raised over £37,000 for this worthy cause.
This year over 15,000 swimmers took part in the event nationally, raising a total of almost £1.5m for Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Swimathon Foundation.
