On 2nd & 3rd October a team from Parkwood Leisure Head Office will be attempting the 3 Peaks Challenge. The challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks in the UK (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon) within 24 hours.
Back in August several members of the Parkwood Leisure Head Office Team set a goal to complete the 3 Peaks Challenge. Very quickly a team of 12 enthusiastic individuals committed to taking part in the challenge. Considering some members of the team have never set foot on a Mountain before, this is no easy task and will require hard work and determination from all participating in order to reach our goal.
Exercise regimes are now in full swing and the team are focused and enthused to carry out practice walks in the weeks leading up to the challenge.
