Keyworth Leisure Centre, one of the Centres managed by Parkwood Leisure on behalf of Rushcliffe Borough Council, has recently opened its brand new state of the art fitness suite, which boasts the latest Cardiovascular, Resistance and Free Weight equipment and compliments the already successful and superb activities offered by the Centre’s Aquazone Swimming Pool and Group Exercise Classes.
To mark the occasion, the new Fitness Suite was officially opened by Councillor Eddie Fearon, Cabinet Portfolio Holder, during Keyworth Leisure Centre’s Open Evening held on Wednesday 4th June. The evening was a real success with attendance from Rushcliffe Borough Council, community group Friends of Keyworth and new and existing customers, who enjoyed refreshments and light snacks whilst staff took customers on tours of the new facilities.
Neil Gallagher, Leisure Centre Manager said "we were so pleased that Councillor Fearon agreed to launch our new fitness suite. It is an honour to have such a prominent person at the Open Day. The response from our customers and the local community to the opening of the new Expressions Fitness Suite has been very positive and it was a pleasure to be able to show off our new facilities on the Day".
