About Petanque

If you enjoy light competition, tactically minded and looking for a challenge petanque is the sport for you! Similar to boules, the aim of the game is to throw hollow metal balls as close as possible to the cochonnet (small wooden ball). Originally from France, Petanque can be played in teams or played by individuals in a competitive or social context; making it an ideal game for everyone!

Petanque is a social and inclusive game. Available to individuals of all ages and abilities you can meet new friends there or take old friends with you! With a strong focus on technique, this non-strenuous activity is ideal to improve focus and concentration alongside light exercise.

What Should I Wear?

We recommend that you wear loose and comfortable clothing with appropriate footwear like trainers for good stability. We highly advise that you bring plenty of water to keep hydrated during your session.
