The manager of local football team, Ball Haye Green FC, has made the transfer deadline day move to join Brough Park Leisure Centre as a member.
Kielan Bond, who most refer to as 'Bondy', has joined Brough Park Leisure Centre in a bid to improve his health and fitness levels.
As part of his membership, he will be keeping a bi-weekly fitness blog in which he will share the trials and tribulations of his road to success.
Speaking earlier today, Bondy commented, "Being the manager of Ball Haye Green, I'm always around players who keep themselves fit and now we've entered the new year, I've made the decision to get myself fit again.
"I've known a lot of people who have used Brough Park in the past. In fact, myself and team have trained here on a number of occassions, coming along to the Spin classes. It seems like a great place and with the range of activities and facilities which are available, I'm looking forward to getting myself fit again."
Centre Manager at Brough Park Leisure Centre, Ian Sales, added, "I've known Bondy for a long time. It's great to hear that he's looking to get himself healthier and fitter and I'm delighted that he's chosen Brough Park to help him do it."
Now he's joined, Bondy is booked in for an induction and health assessment with fitness instructor, Dan Evans, who will work alongside Bondy during his fitness journey to ensure that he stays motivated and supported.
