Centre Managers Monthly report
I thought it would be a good time to introduce myself for those who do not know me.
My name is Dave Radmall and I am the Centre Manager here at Bingham Leisure Centre.
The purpose of these updates from the Centre Manager is to update you all on what we’ve been doing and what’s yet to come at Bingham Leisure Centre. I hope you find it beneficial.
Christmas came earlier at Bingham Leisure Centre, with the installation of the new gym equipment! We managed to purchase some exciting new equipment which included some items that are brand new to Bingham Leisure Centre. These included: Plate Loaded Chest Press, Plate Loaded Shoulder Press, Plate Loaded Lat Pulldown, Plate Loaded T-Bar Row, Plate Loaded Calf Raise and a Pec Dec/Rear Delt Machine. We also replaced our old Cross Trainers with 5 brand new Cross Trainers which can go on an Incline of up to 20%!!
We have finally launched the NEW INFLATABLE! After a long wait it’s finally here and available for use on Saturday 3.30pm- 4.30pm and Sunday afternoons between 2.15pm-3.15pm. It is also available for party hire. Apparently the parents love it more than the children!
We’ve had our popular 6 week badminton course start back which started 19th September with our local Coach Paul Abbey.
Over the summer Rushcliffe Athletics and Calverton and Bingham Swimming Club were both ran summer camps over the summer period. Both sessions were very popular.
In September we held our second National Netball tournament, as the first one had such a good turnout with over 3000 people coming! We didn’t think it could get any bigger! However the second was even bigger than the first! With more teams coming to play and more families and friends supporting such a big event. We estimated around 3,500 attended the weekend.
On the 8th and 9th of September the Centre held the 8th Bingham Bavarian Bierfest. The event is always well attended and proved so once again with over 600 customers consuming popular here at Bingham with lots of singing and dancing and a little tiny bit of drinking at the centre.
We’ve got a new and different booking at the centre … Model Car Racing, this had an extremely good turnout, with lots of spectators, with good comments from staff and spectators, this will now be at the centre once a month.
