Centre manager's April report
I thought it would be a good time to introduce myself for those who do not know me.
My name is Dave Radmall and I am the Centre Manager here at Bingham Leisure Centre.
Going forward we’ll be doing a monthly report from the Centre Manager to update you all on what we’ve been doing and what’s yet to come at Bingham Leisure Centre. I hope you find it beneficial.
As phase 1 of the Wooden Gym refurbishment we now have our double glazed windows fitted. The PE department are very pleased as the noise has been significantly reduced in the gym viewing area. The Wooden Gym will not be our Wooden gym for much longer…
We have had many comments on whether the Pool changing rooms are going to be updated. As you are probably aware Rushcliffe Borough Council are again reviewing the facilities in Rushcliffe and Bingham Leisure centre is the next site to be reviewed. But in partnership with Rushcliffe we managed to secure funding to replace the old urinal in the male area with 2 new urinals.
We have tried to raise the profile of our Expressions Gym and we now have our new Expressions sign fitted outside of the gym. Look out for more exciting improvements down there….
Wimbledon is around the corner so our Tennis courts are now open for bookings as we’ve got NEW Tennis nets and posts. Please contact Reception.
We’ve got another Boxing event here in June 2017. We’ve also got our Go TRi Event on Sunday 28th May 2017 for ages 8-16 not long now so get booking. We’ll be having our Annual open day soon with lots of fun for all the family for all ages, look out for posters around the centre. All the information can be found on our social media outlets.
