June & July's manager report

Monthly Centre Manager's report by Dave Radmall

Manager’s report

My name is Dave Radmall and I am the Centre Manager here at Bingham Leisure Centre. This report will have all the information regarding the months of June & July for Bingham Leisure Centre including  upcoming works and events taking place.

In  June and July we had a full calendar of events including Boxing, Go Tri Event, Pony Club Event (without Ponies !) and Notts AA Mini League Event.

We had a family Fun day on 15th July which included Managers specials for certain activities. Parties came out on top as we took 15 party bookings !!

Now that our Functional Training room is open, training videos on all the equipment will be on our social media outlets with our fitness instructors and customers. We  have challenges set by our fitness team for our customers, I have even donated a prize.

For all our customers who requested, you may have noticed the we had a big delivery of Dumbbells, we now have a full set from 2kg-50kg, along with two new adjustable Benches which have declined settings.

Upcoming events

In August will be hosting a Athletic Summer Camp and also a Summer Club Swimming camp.

Excel will be delivering the holiday activity programme throughout August and spaces are still available through the Excel website.

On the weekend of the 2nd & 3rd September we will be hosting the second national netball competition. This event brings over 3000 people through the site.

On the 8th & 9th September we will be hosting the Bingham Bavarian Bierfest , this event is always popular here at Bingham with lots of singing and dancing and a little drinking.

Our Member of the month

Chris Wright - Chris is definitely a deserved winner of member of the month for June & July. Chris has found his passion for fitness in the form of Calisthenics style training. Any of you who know Chris will know how fast he has managed to develop his skills which are all primarily based on body weight techniques that require lots of skill, concentration and control. As soon as we opened the new Functional Training Room Chris was the first person I thought of that would be able to show off all the new toys to their full potential. Luckily Chris was kind enough to take time out of his own busy schedule and be one of the starring roles in our promotional video’s. After watching the video I’m sure you will all agree with me what a talent Chris has. He is no stranger to the spotlight though as he was selected to take part in a performance at this years Body Power exhibition at the NEC, Chris always gives his all when training and constantly strives to take his skills to the next level. Keep up the great work Chris and a huge thank you for your help with the promotional video.
