About Skipping

You can take advantage of our facilities to increase your stamina and aerobic ability. Skipping is an excellent cardio based work out using a jump-rope, enabling you to improve your fitness in a fun and enjoyable way!

By skipping, you are increasing your heart rate, giving you a great aerobic workout. You will be toning your legs and arms by the continuous movement of jumping the rope whilst also engaging with your core muscles. This in turn will improve your posture, muscle definition and endurance. In addition to all these benefits you will also be able to improve your hand-eye coordination and concentration.

What Should I Wear?

We advise you wear light breathable clothing or sportswear for maximum comfort and flexibility, as well as suitable footwear. We also advise you bring plenty of water to keep you hydrated during your session.
