Exciting changes at Wycombe District Council leisure centres

27 Mar 2009
On 1st April 2009, Parkwood Community Leisure will commence management of Wycombe Sports Centre, Court Garden Leisure Complex and Risborough Springs Swim & Fitness Centre on behalf of Wycombe District Council. For further information on Parkwood Community Leisure, please click here.

In view of some recent communication from Nexus Community regarding memberships, we would like to offer some reassurance. All existing memberships at Wycombe Sports Centre, Court Garden Leisure Complex and Risborough Springs Swim & Fitness Centre will transfer to Parkwood Community Leisure on 1st April, and you will be able to continue to use the facilities as normal. We will take care of the membership transfer for you. Please disregard any information which you may have received to the contrary. We very much look forward to meeting all customers over the coming weeks and helping you to achieve your health and fitness goals.

For further reassurance, please click here to view a press release issued by Wycombe District Council today, stating their unequivocal stance on the matter of existing memberships.

You will be pleased to know that after we start to manage the centres on 1st April 2009 both Court Garden Leisure Complex and Wycombe Sports Centre will receive significant investment in health and fitness. These are truly exciting times for all three centres. As part of these exciting developments new equipment is arriving on 1st and 2nd April at Wycombe Sports Centre and Court Garden Leisure Complex so the gym facilities at these centres will re-open on 3rd April 2009.

Should you have any queries at all regarding your membership please contact our Memberships team on 01299 253400, or alternatively Andy Corcoran, Operations Director for Parkwood Community Leisure via email on andy.corcoran@parkwood-leisure.co.uk.

We very much look forward to welcoming you at the centres soon!
