Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Parkwood Leisure Ltd’s relationship with you in relation to this website.

The term “Parkwood Leisure Ltd” or “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is Parkwood Leisure Head Office, Perdiswell Park, Droitwich Road, Worcester, WR3 7NW. Our company registration number is 3232979 England. The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Policies and procedures are subject to change without notice and may vary from centre to centre. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law

B. On-line bookings

B1. Booking Times
The booking time covers the period of use including up to 5 minutes setting up and up to 5 minutes clearing away of facilities relating to the booking.

B2. Confirmation of booking/checking-in
2.1 All hirers, customers must report to reception on arrival
2.2 All on line bookings are confirmed by the issuing of a booking confirmation direct to your nominated email address
2.3 A booking confirmation will only be issued subject to receipt of payment
2.4 The booking confirmation slip must be produced at reception on arrival to the reception to validate a booking
2.5 All bookings are made in the name of a specified individual as set out on the booking confirmation. Proof of identity may be required. Bookings are non-transferable and non-refundable.

B3. Conditions of Use
All hires and bookings are made subject to the Terms and Conditions of Use that may apply from time to time. These are available from reception and displayed at the Leisure Centre, and issued with any membership. If members rights are abused the membership may be terminated without notice. Membership is non-refundable.

B4. Cancellation of bookings
Confirmed bookings are subject to the cancellation policy of the centre.

B5. Non-attendance
Members who fail to attend for a confirmed booking will be re-charged at the standard facility rate.

C. Expressions Health and Fitness membership sales

1. This package is offered for a minimum of 12 months. Members can pay either by annual subscription in advance, or monthly by Direct Debit. For granting this credit, members pay an additional 10% charge which is incorporated in the Direct Debit payments.
2. The Direct Debit contract will commence on the date stated under Date of First Direct Debit.  If you wish to terminate your Direct Debit membership agreement you must do so in writing to the centre where you joined.  Terminations will be subject to a single cancellation fee equivalent to 2 monthly payments where membership is cancelled during the first 12 months of the contract from the Date of First Direct Debit.  Annual memberships are non-refundable.  If the termination process is not followed legal proceedings may be taken.
3. Direct Debit payments will continue beyond 12 months until such time as you advise us in writing of your intention to cancel. Please notify us at least 14 days before your Direct Debit due date in writing to the centre where you joined. Members are advised to take steps to cancel their direct debit thereafter.
4. If you cancel your membership for any reason, it will be necessary to pay a further administration fee when you restart.
5. In exceptional circumstances, e.g. injury or pregnancy, you may be allowed to defer your membership for an agreed period (up to a maximum of 6 months). This request must be made to your centre in writing, stating the reason for deferral and including supporting medical evidence. We reserve the right to decline your application, or apply an administration fee. Any such period deferred will not form any part of the contracted minimum number of payments.
6. During your first 12 months, you can transfer your Direct Debit membership to a friend or relative who can then take over the remainder of your existing membership term. In this instance your  cancellation fee would be waived. A nominal administration charge of £25 for the transfer will be made to the new member. Please contact the centre for a transferral form.
7. All members are required to show their membership card at reception or swipe through the fast track barrier on arrival at the centre. A photograph will be required on joining for identification purposes. Members will be refused free entry into expressions activities without a valid membership card. There is a small charge to replace lost or stolen cards. Membership cards are non-transferable and must only be used by the registered cardholder. Only the cardholder can make bookings.
8. Certain activities under the expressions membership require advanced booking to guarantee availability.  Members are permitted to book up to 7 days in advance for fitness classes*.  If the member fails to show after reserving a place, a charge equivalent to the non-member rate will be applied.  Cancellation to classes reserved is permitted without charge, when made at least 24 hrs in advance of the activity.  A booking receipt will be required from reception for all sessions and must be handed to the appropriate instructor prior to participation.  *Local variations apply; see centre joining pack for further information.
9. Please make every effort to advise the centre if not attending a session. This will allow other customers to utilise the space.
10. Booking times for all expressions activities must be adhered to for Health and Safety reasons. As a result, if you attend at a later or earlier time than booked you may be refused entry.
11. In general, unless advertised otherwise, all sessions are for one hour. This allows all our members to have the opportunity to utilise the facilities. However, you may be able to extend your visit providing the facility is not fully utilised.
12. Prior to using any fitness equipment new members are required to undertake a supervised induction with a member of the expressions fitness team, these should be booked in advance. Members must use all equipment and facilities in an appropriate manner and give considered regard to your own health and safety and to that of others.
13. We will write to inform you a minimum of two weeks in advance before the introduction of any price adjustment. Please inform us of changes to your personal details such as address, telephone number, email address so that these communications may be made.
14. In order to keep members up to date with promotions and support services, Parkwood Leisure will email customers bulletins on an ad hoc basis. Members email addresses will not be shared with third parties.
15. We reserve the right to withdraw all or any part of our facilities for short periods of time to carry out routine maintenance and for exhibitions/events.  Members will be given advance warning of these times and no refunds will apply in these circumstances provided they occasion no more than 10 times in any 12 month period.  If other circumstances occur that are beyond our control, and require the closure of the whole or part facility (e.g. gym/swimming pool) for more than 1 day in any 6 month period, your membership may be transferred to an alternate venue in the first instance.  Where an alternate venue is not available your membership will be extended by the period of the closure.  If such as closure persists for more than 14 consecutive days, you will be given the opportunity to cancel your membership and obtain a refund for the unexpired term.
16. We accept no liability for lost or stolen goods whilst on our premises unless as a direct result of our negligence. Property stored in lockers is at your own risk. Cars parked in the car park and all contents in them are your responsibility and we will not accept and liability for loss or damage to them.
17. It is the responsibility of the member to ensure they use the facilities provided under this agreement. Parkwood Leisure takes no responsibility for non attendance and as such refunds will not be issued due to non attendance.
18. Members must comply with conditions of use displayed throughout the centre relevant to each activity.
19. Parkwood Leisure reserve the right to adjust or amend the terms and conditions as necessary without prior notice. Members are requested to adhere to the terms and conditions of use. These may vary from time to time within the centre of choice.
20. We reserve the right to cancel a membership if these conditions are not adhered to.
21. The expressions membership subscription when purchased on-line offers a 7-day cooling off period from the specified start date of the membership.  Customers may cancel the membership within this time frame without penalty, provided the facilities have not been used during that time.  To initiate the cooling off mechanism members are required to confirm in writing at the centre of joining.  Any joining or pro-rata fees that have been paid within this time will then be refunded.

D. Swim 23 membership sales

1. This package is offered for a minimum 12 month term. Members joining on-line may pay either by annual subscription in full in advance, or pay monthly by Direct Debit. For granting this credit, members pay an additional 10% charge which is incorporated in the Direct Debit payments.
2. The Direct Debit contract will commence on the date stated on the joining instructions under Date of First Direct Debit. If you wish to terminate your Direct Debit membership agreement during the first 12 months you must do so in writing to the centre where you joined the Swim 23 swimming membership scheme. Terminations will be calculated from the "Date of First Direct Debit Date". A single cancellation fee equivalent to the remaining monthly payments of the initial 12 month subscription will be required. Annual memberships paid in full are non-refundable. If the termination process is not followed legal proceedings may be taken.
3. Direct Debit payments will continue beyond 12 months until such time as you advise us in writing of your intention to cancel. Please notify us at least 14 days before your Direct Debit due date in writing to the centre where you joined. Members are advised to take steps to cancel their direct debit thereafter. The Swim 23 membership is offered at a rate of £23 for the first 12 months, thereafter price increases may occur and customers will be notified in advance prior to any price changes being applied.
4. The Swim 23 membership is subject to an administration fee on joining. If you cancel your membership for any reason, it will be necessary to pay a further administration fee when you restart.
5. In exceptional circumstances, e.g. injury or pregnancy, you may be allowed to defer your membership for an agreed period (up to a maximum of 6 months). This request must be made to your centre in writing, stating the reason for deferral and including supporting medical evidence. We reserve the right to decline your application, or apply an administration fee. Any such period spent deferred will not form any part of any agreed minimum number of payments or contract term.

8. Swim 23 offers unlimited swimming during public swim times. Local arrangements may exist where other activities are included in the Swim 23 membership. These activities may require prior booking to guarantee availability. A booking receipt will be required from reception or on-line for such sessions, and will need to be presented on arrival.
9. Booking times for all activities must be adhered to for Health and Safety reasons. As a result, if you attend at a later or earlier time than booked you may be refused entry. Please make every effort to advise the centre if not attending a pre-booked session. This will allow other customers to utilise the space. Members who do not attend booked sessions without 48 hours prior notice will be charged the full cost of the missed activity.
10. In general, unless advertised otherwise, all sessions are for one hour. This allows all our members to have the opportunity to utilise the facilities. However, you may be able to extend your visit providing the facility is not fully utilised.
