Job Title : Duty Manager

Location : Cowbridge Leisure Centre


This is an outstanding career opportunity with a not for profit charitable organisation committed to providing a diverse and meaningful range of leisure and culture related activities for the local communities in which we serve.


This key role will report to the Centre Manager and will involve the day-to-day management of the facility, taking full responsibility of the centre at key times to include Health and Safety, Environmental management, customer care and managing a team of  staff.  The post holder will take a lead role in developing and promoting an exciting and innovative leisure programme to increase the usage and profitability of the centre.


The Opportunity

  • 40 Hour Full time Duty Manager position at Cowbridge Leisure Centre

  • Full responsibility of the day to day running of a multi functional leisure centre

  • Take a lead role in developing and promoting an exciting and innovative leisure programme


The Person

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Commitment to customer service

  • Ability to work on a shift pattern including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays

  • Dynamic individual and Problem Solver

  • Ability to manage a team and ensure the sound operation and safety of your team and customers during your duty shift

  • Experience in the Leisure Centre industry

  • Cash Handling & Banking

  • Insert details about the qualifications that you would like them to have

  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification

  • Health and Safety Experience

  • IT literate

  • Pool Plant Operators qualification or Spa Plant Operators qualification,

  • Recognised Leisure Management qualification or equivalent vocational qualification.

  • DBS requirement
