Originally formed in 1995, Parkwood Leisure is now recognised as one of the leading leisure management companies in the UK. Currently operating 84 leisure facilities on behalf of 27 Clients, the company has a turnover in excess of £70 million. Led by Chief Executive, Andrew Holt; Parkwood Leisure employs 4,500 staff throughout England and Wales.

The Company’s experience ranges from the management of 50m International Swimming Pools and state of the art Fitness Gyms, to ice rinks, theatres and conference venues. Having designed, built and operated 17 new leisure centres, Parkwood Leisure is leading the UK market in the PFI/PPP/DBOM sector.

In addition to managing the more traditional local authority sports and leisure centres, Parkwood Leisure is also operating cultural community facilities such as theatres, arts venues and tourist information centres. The company is also operating a number of outdoor activity centres, including the Portsmouth Watersports Centre on the south coast.  Parkwood Leisure has excellent partnership agreements in existence with organisations such as the Amateur Swimming Association, British Water Polo and the England Squash and Racquetball Association.
